Perennial Care

Obtaining a perennial garden such as the picture shows only requires a few easy steps that must be followed

• perennials love constant moisture but well drained soil
• feed regularly with soluable fertilizer, 2x per month
• remove dead flowers as they fade to encourage more bloom
• purchase newer varieties which are more disease resistant
• incorporate liberal amounts of peatmoss to the soil, mulch your garden against hot dry summers which stop blooming
• choose varieties that will bring enjoyment in spring as well as in summer and fall
• try to use colourful foliage and texture, place plants so that tall varieties go to the back of the border and shorter varieties go toward the front
• perhaps you could even plant an all pink or blue garden

Nursery stock is guaranteed 100% for 2 full years from the date of purchase ONLY if planting instructions are followed. Plants will only be replaced ONCE in the 2 year period with the return of the dead plant and the receipt for proof of purchase.
