Landscape Designer/Installer:
Sipkens Nurseries is hiring an experienced Landscape Designer/Installer who enjoys being part of the entire project process, from landscape drawings design, detailed specs for quotes and working on the job site installing.
- Post-Secondary school education in landscape design, horticultural technician OR related training/experience an asset; DynaSCAPE etc.
- Demonstrated knowledge of landscape and construction techniques, practices and terminology including managing project budgets
- 2+ years of Landscape installation experience
- Valid driver's license and clean abstract required
- Seasonal FT April to November with an opportunity of renewal
- Survey and Site assessment: prepare drawings from exposure of neighbouring features to existing surveys, plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental use, etc
- Source material and approve substitutions within the budget
- You should enjoy interacting with our customers, have strong customer service skills, able to lift/carry up to 50lbs and enjoy working outdoors
- Demonstrated knowledge with Health & Safety regulations and standards, building permits, tree bylaws, etc.
- You are recognized for having a positive attitude and being reliable
Starting wage: $24.00/hour
